Mahavairocana Buddh-Patron Deity of those born in the Year of the Monkey and Goat

Rebgong Thangka (Hand-painted)-He is not a personal deity, but rather the personified symbol of the ultimate truth of the universe—the Dharmakaya ("Truth Body"). Like formless, absolute light, he is the fundamental source that generates, encompasses, and illuminates all phenomena. All Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, and indeed the entire cosmos, manifest from his wisdom. In esoteric practice, the visualization of one's own identity with Mahavairocana—through the practice of "Three Mysteries" (body, speech, and mind)—enables direct realization of this cosmic source, thereby achieving the supreme state of "attaining Buddhahood in this very body.
